El Primo
"El Primo is always in the spotlight and that's right where he wants to be! There's no audience he can't win over, except maybe his fellow performers..."
Class: Tank
Rarity: Rare
Trio: Mexican Entertainers with Poco and
Amber
Best skin: El Quarterback
Mastery title: "El Luchador"

El Primo is a solid tank brawler with very high HP that and can do good damage and crowd control, albeit with a very short range. He can execute high impact combos, and excels at countering fellow tanks.

Health: 6300 to 12600
Movement speed: Fast

Main Attack: Fists of Fury
"El Primo fires off a furious flurry of four fiery fists. That's a spicy jalapeno knuckle sandwich!"
Damage: 4 x 380 to 760
Range: Short
Reload speed: Very Fast
El Primo's main attack is four punches that have short range but can do a good amount of damage if they all connect. They also pierce through enemies. However, it takes a bit for the punches to come out, allowing for the enemy to potentially dodge them, even at very close range.

Super: Flying Elbow Drop
"Leaping high, El Primo drops an Intergalactic Elbow that knocks around enemies and destroys cover!"
Damage: 960 to 1920
Range: Long
El Primo's super is a moderate damage jump that can knockback and break walls. It is a very essential part of his kit, as it allows him to get to enemies outside of his main attack range, and the stun that comes with the knockback can allow him to hit more punches on the enemy. While it has a long range, it is generally not advised to use it at max range as the jump takes longer the more distance he has to cover, making it easy for enemies to predict where he lands and avoid him.

Trait: Charges super from taking damage(aka tank trait)

Gadget 1: Supplex Supplement
"El Primo grabs the closest enemy within his reach and flips them like a pancake over his broad shoulders."
Cooldown: 14 seconds
This is a great gadget for El Primo, as it gives him another way to provide crowd control to the enemy, however he does have to be very close. You can pre-aim his main attack to where the thrown enemy will land to allow the attack to fully connect, leading to a lot of damage.

Gadget 2: Asteroid Belt
"El Primo summons a small meteor to strike the nearest enemy. It deals 3040 damage and destroys walls."
Cooldown: 13 seconds
This is overall a very awkward gadget to use with El Primo, as it can get decent area control, but it ends up destroying a lot of the environment, which El Primo relies on. It also is hard to aim with, since the area can't be manually targeted. The main use case for this gadget is extra damage on Heist.

Star Power 1: El Fuego
"Enemies caught in El Primo's Super will burn for 1800 damage over 4 seconds."
This star power gives El Primo's super more damage over time. It is overall a very simple and useful star power for increasing his DPS.

Star Power 2: Meteor Rush
"El Primo gains a 25% speed boost for 4 seconds after using his Super."
This is also a good star power for El Primo, as it allows him to close the gap on enemies even if he misses his super. The speed boost can also allow him to get close to other brawlers easier, potentially leading to him chaining his supers.

Hypercharge: Gravity Leap
"Leaping high, El Primo drops an Intergalactic Elbow that brings enemies to the Epicenter"
Charge rate: 3 and 1/3 supers
Speed buff: 25%
Damage buff: 5%
Shield buff: 25%
El Primo's hypercharge is just his normal super, except enemies are pulled in instead of knocked back. This is an underwhelming buff to his super, and can potentially make it worse if you hit someone who can deal a ton of damage point blank, such as Shelly, Bull, or Griff. However, it can be better in scenarios where you hit multiple enemies, as it can group them up for his main attack to pierce through all of them.

Epic Gear: Super Charge
This gear increases El Primo's overall super charge rate by 10%.
Gear selection:
Primo has several solid gear to use on him. Super charge is overall the best, as Primo is heavily reliant on his super. Speed is also very useful, as El Primo is usually played on bushy maps, where speed gear is very important. Damage can also just be generally useful, and health gear is very useful when facing a bad matchup. Overall, the second best gear choice is speed, since El Primo is almost always used on bushy maps.

Best Matchups:
El Primo is generally used as a tank counter, as he has numerous crowd control effects that he can use to interrupt and combo his enemies. Frank and Hank are especially vulnerable to this, as their attacks are interrupted by El Primo very easily. El Primo is also good into low damage brawlers, as his very high HP makes it very hard for those brawlers to kill him. Good examples of this include Poco, Meeple, and Colonel Ruffs.

Best Counters:
El Primo is countered by most general tank counters or high damage brawlers. Cordelius is a great counter to El Primo due to his shadow realm not letting him use his super, which El Primo is very reliant on. Gale is another brawler that is safe from El Primo due to both his gadget and super keeping him away. A great high damage brawler to use against El Primo is Chester, as he can do a ton of damage to El Primo at point blank range, and also sports some decent range himself. His variety of supers also helps keep El Primo at bay.

Best Game Modes:
El Primo's best game mode by far is Brawl Ball, since he is super tanky and has a great goal scoring super. His various methods of crowd control make him the perfect tank on offense and defense. He is also solid on Heist, since his super allows him to easily get on the safe, and he can deal a decent amount of damage while being hard to get off the safe due to his high HP.

Tips and Tricks:
-
The optimal combo for El Primo is using his main attack, super, main attack during the knockback, Supplex Supplement gadget, and another main attack. Since the enemy is constantly gettting juggled by his crowd control, they will almost never have the opportunity to counterattack.
-
You can use El Primo's hypercharge just before his super lands to extend the hypercharge duration while he is on the ground.
-
El Primo is a very matchup reliant brawler. If possible, try and rotate to a lane with a brawler that doesn't counter you, as if you stay on that lane, you will be feeding them positioning and super charge.
-
With his super and gadget, El Primo can actually get a kill on some of his counters. However, this requires perfect execution of his combo.
-
El Primo's super takes longer to travel the farther you aim it. This means aiming far away takes a very long time, giving the enemies time to move away from where you are going to land. It is usually better to use his super when the enemy is relatively close to you.
