Poco
"Poco believes music can change people's lives. He's so enthusiastic about it that he never stops playing, even after people ask him to!"
Class: Support
Rarity: Rare
Trio: Mexican Entertainers with El
Primo and Amber
Best skin: Possessed Poco
Title: "El Mariachi"
Prestige Title: "Goes Loco"
Poco is a decent support character that can provide good healing and cleave damage. His main attack and super cover a lot of area, but don't deal much damage. His gadget are both very good for providing either healing over time or crowd control immunity for him and his team.
Health: 4000 to 8000
Movement speed: Normal
Main Attack: Power Chord
"Poco strums his guitarron, sending forward bone-jarring sound waves. Enemies hit by the waves take damage."
Damage: 760 to 1520
Range: Long
Reload speed: Normal
Poco has a fan-shaped main attack that covers a large area. It doesn't deal much damage, but it is very easy to hit if enemies are inside of its range. It also as a quick unload speed, making it easy to kill brawlers if they are already low.
Super: Encore
"Poco heals himself and all friends he can reach with his uplifting melody. Does not affect enemies."
Heal: 2100 to 4200
Range: Very Long
Poco's super is essentially a much bigger main attack that heals instead of doing damage. This is a great way to burst heal on himself and teammates, making them stay alive longer. It also charges up very fast from his main attacks, allowing him to get a ton of healing from it throughout the match.
Gadget 1: Tuning Fork
"Poco and all nearby allies heal 800 health per second for 5 seconds."
Cooldown: 20 seconds
This gadget provides some healing over time for Poco and his allies, totaling out at 4000 healing. This is great since the healing is tied to a gadget which does have a slightly long cooldown, but this gadget can be spammed pretty much every time it comes off cooldown. To heal teammates, you need to remain relatively close to them when you activate the gadget.
Gadget 2: Protective Tunes
"Removes active adverse effects from friendly Brawlers in a large area and gives a 4 second immunity."
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Note: The immunity is for adverse affects, not damage.
This is an incredibly good counterplay gadget, as it is completely useless against enemies without adverse affects, but incredibly effective against enemies that do. Adverse effects include (but is not limited to)stuns, slows, hypnosis, silences, slipping, frost, and damage over time effects. It can also completely remove poison from brawlers such as Willow and Byron, making their attacks deal no damage.
Star Power 1: Da Capo!
"When Poco's attack hits friendly Brawlers they now heal for 962 health."
This is a great star power to pair with tanks, as it lets poco heal without relying on charging his super or gadget. It ensures that he will always get some sort of value out of his main attack.
Star Power 2: Screeching Solo
"Poco's super now also hits enemies, dealing 1520 damage."
This is a surprisingly good star power, as Poco will still heal himself with his super, but he can now deal damage with it as well. It can be a good way to finish kills or deal additional damage, as his super has a massive range, is almost impossible to miss, and can go through walls. It also synergizes great with his super's fast charge rate, dealing a solid amount of damage throughout the game.
Hypercharge: Medic's Melody
"Encore now overheals, adding a decaying shield for the amount overhealed. Shield lasts for 5 seconds."
Charge rate: 2 and 1/2 supers
Poco's hypercharge has an overall underwhelming effect, since it provides no additional healing to targets, and the shield given if he overheals decays very quickly. However, it does charge very fast, allowing him to cycle multiple hypercharges in a game very easily.
Gear selection:
Poco has several solid gears. Damage is good to increase his low damage, gadget gear can be good to spam out his gadgets, and shield can be a decent option as well. Overall, Poco's best gears for are damage and gadget gear to slightly mitigate his low damage and increase the effectiveness of his gadgets.

Best Matchups:
Poco is great against brawlers that either have low damage or adverse affects, as he can either outheal their damage or remove their effects. Lou is a great example of this, as Protective Tunes can remove all 3 of his crowd control effects(slipping, stun, freeze meter). Ollie is also countered well by Poco as he can completely remove his hypnosis, and he doesn't do enough damage to consistently take down Poco and his team. Poco also does well into Max, as she doesn't do much damage, and having high speed doesn't counter Poco very well, as his attack are very easy to hit.
Best Counters:
Poco is countered by either brawlers who have to much health for him to kill, or brawlers that can focus and take him down easily. Mortis is a great example of this, as in a 1v1, Poco cannot kill him while Mortis gets his hypercharge charged up. Sam is also a great counter to Poco, as he can run him down and easily heal through Poco's damage. Emz also does well into Poco, as she can deal a lot of burst damage at similar range to Poco, and can slow down tanks paired with Poco that get too close to her. Even if Poco uses Protective Tunes, Emz is still often able to effectively burst Poco and his team down.
Best Game Modes:
Poco's best game mode is Hot Zone, as he can keep his teammates alive and on the zone well. Gem Grab is also a good mode for him, as it is another game mode that relies on control, which Poco provides through keeping teammates alive.
Tips and Tricks:
-
With either of Poco's star powers, try to make it so that your attack/super both heals and does damage to get maximum value.
-
Try and pair Poco with tanks to get the most out of his healing abilities. Brawlers with shield also work well, as they reduce damage, but the healing remains the same.
-
Since Poco's attack is so wide, it is very easy to hit more than one target at once. Try to manually aim shots when facing 2 enemies to have a greater chance of hitting both.
-
Poco has a surprisingly fast unload speed, allowing him to deal decent burst damage, especially with his Screeching Solo star power.
-
Don't be afraid to play slightly aggressive with Poco, as he has decent range and burst damage, and can keep himself alive very well with his super and Tuning Fork gadget.
-
Poco has an incredibly versatile build, with both of his gadget and star powers being viable, and several good gear options as well. As a healer, you should be using Da Capo! and Tuning Fork, and use Screeching Solo to be a better standalone brawler. Against heavy crowd control, Protective Tunes is a must due to its ability to shut down many brawlers' main gimmick.
