Moe
"Moe is a blind rat, found living in the Starr Park sewers by Grom, who quickly adopted him! Now part of Starr Park's maintenance team, Moe uses his special digging machine, Driller, to traverse the sewer tunnels... and also cause a bit of destruction throughout the park, much to Ash's dismay."
Class: Damage Dealer
Rarity: Mythic
Trio: Castle Courtyard with Grom and Ash
Best skin: Moon Driller Moe
Record title: "Cheesy"

Moe is a midranger that has a variable and often random damage output with his splitting main attack. His super allows him to become a pseudo-assassin with incredibly high damage output, and his hypercharge allows him to snipe brawlers from across the map, giving him great teamwipe opportunities.

Health: 3600 to 7200
Movement speed: Fast or Very Fast

Main Attack: Shovel Slinger
"Moe throws a rock that bounces once, breaking into a smaller rock. Each rock smashes into stones on impact. Rocks and stones both deal damage."
Damage per stone: 500 to 1000
Range: Long
Reload Speed: Normal
Moe has a strange main attack, firing out a rock that splits twice into 4 smaller rocks for a total of 8 projectiles at a decent range. Strangely, it deals little damage if it directly hits a brawler, as the rock will not split and deal damage only once. However, if he aims to the side of a brawler, he will often hit 2 projectiles, overall increasing his damage output. This means that you don't want to directly hit a brawler, making auto-aim good against strafing enemies, but not against enemies running directly at or away from him.

Super: Moe's Machine
"Moe gets into his trusty Driller, drilling to targeted location, dealing damage and knocking Brawlers up at the destination. He gains a new attack in his Driller form."
Damage: 600 to 1200
Duration: 5 seconds
Range: Long
Moe's super drills him underground to a location with a knockback when he pops back up. He deals damage to brawlers while underground and again when popping up, allowing him to hit targets twice. When popping up, he gains access to his driller form for 5 seconds, gaining movement speed and additional movement speed while attacking with high close-range burst damage.

Driller Main Attack: Giga Drill Break
"Moe starts drilling in front of him, gaining movement speed and dealing damage to enemies in front of him."
Damage per second: 2800 to 5600
Range: Short
Reload Speed: Very Fast
Moe's Driller attack quickly fires out short-ranged attacks that can be held down to continue firing. This attack has incredibly high DPS, being able to melt down even tanks, however it has very short range. Attacking also increases his movement speed further, making it so brawlers that don't have a dash ability heavily struggle to escape from him. Moe can essentially hold down auto-aim for the duration of his Driller form, as it is almost impossible to deplete all of its ammo.

Super: Bail Out
"Moe exits his Driller and returns to his normal form."
This super instantly transforms Moe back into his normal form, gaining his normal attack back. It is instantly charged after Moe uses his normal super, allowing him to transform back immediately after using his super. However, this means that while in Driller form, he cannot cycle back to another super, meaning he has to gain his super through his normal main attack.

Gadget 1: Dodgy Digging
"Moe digs up some 'borrowed' goods, increasing his Super charge rate by 50% for 5 seconds."
Cooldown: 13 seconds
This gadget massively increases Moe's super charge rate for 5 seconds, allowing him to cycle to his super and hypercharge much more effectively. It also has a short cooldown, allowing it to be used many times throughout the game.

Gadget 2: Rat Race
"Moe dashes a short distance in his Driller, destroying walls in the process."
Cooldown: 16 seconds
This gadget gives Moe a wallbreak option while in Driller form, and also knocks back brawlers he dashes into, interrupting their attacks and briefly stunning them. However, this gadget really isn't that useful, as Moe doesn't really benefit from wallbreaks, and his Driller form is already incredibly efficient at getting kills, and the knockback is often unnecessary.

Star Power 1: Skipping Stones
"Moe's basic attacks bounce one more time. The range of the attack remains the same."
This star power makes Moe's main attack split once more, giving him a total of 12 projectiles with 1 attack. This drastically increases his mid-ranged DPS, allowing him to easily hit 2 or 3 projectiles if his attacks are aimed to the side. However, the description of this star power is misleading, as it actually decreases the range of his main attack. This makes this star power great in mid-ranged scenarios, but a nerf to his kit in longer-ranged scenarios.

Star Power 2: Speeding Ticket
"Moe's Driller has increased travel speed."
This star power further increases Moe's Driller form's movement speed. The buff overall isn't too impactful though, and this star power is mainly used in more long-ranged setting to switch off the other star power, as it nerfs his range slightly.

Hypercharge: The Big Cheese
"Moe's Driller has longer range and lasts for longer."
Charge rate: 3 and 1/3 supers
This hypercharge gives Moe's super a bunch of buffs, turning it into a huge threat for the enemy team. His super gains additional range, speed, and Moe's driller form now has increased range, speed, and duration. The most significant of these buffs are the increased super range and speed, making Moe able to almost instantly dash over a huge distance, knockback enemies, and kill them with his Driller form. The additional range in Driller form also helps Moe secure additional kills easily, often leading to Moe's hypercharge getting 2 or more kills. It also cycles faster than the charge rate suggests, as Moe's Driller form also charges his hypercharge, and Moe's Dodgy Digging gadget also increases the rate at which his hypercharge charges. Both of these mechanics make Moe's hypercharge relatively easy to get in a game, which is great due to the power it holds.

Gear selection:
Moe's best gears in general scenarios are shield and damage, as they give great stat boosts for both him and his Driller form. However, on bushy maps, vision gear is a much for him, as his attacks have a ton of projectiles and cover large area, giving him tons of value from the vision gear.

Best Matchups:
Moe is a solid midranger, not really having any particular counters with his super, which is an almost guaranteed kill most of the time. He is also a great scouter on bushy maps, which can make him decent against brawlers that try to sneak up such as Sandy or Emz. Hank can also be a solid matchup for Moe, since his super is able to knock back and interrupt his bubble, making it incredibly hard for Hank to kill him. This feeds a ton of Moe's hypercharge, allowing for a potential teamwipe later in the game.

Best Counters:
Moe is best countered by brawlers with high damage or mobility, as they excel at dealing with his devastating super either by killing him or getting away from his Driller form's short range. Brawlers such as Darryl, Bull, and Stu can easily get away from his super and burst him down with quick attacks, and don't match up too badly against his normal form either.

Best Game Modes:
Moe is a great Gem Grab brawler, as he can hold control well with his main attack, scout bushes well, and pull off clean kills with his super. His hypercharge is also amazing, as it is almost a guaranteed kill on the enemy gem carrier from across the map. He can also be a good Hot Zone brawler, as he can both maintain and take back control.

Tips and Tricks:
-
Auto-aim is often the way to go with Moe, as you don't want to be too accurate with his attacks, or else you will get less overall damage.
-
Moe's star power largely depends on the map and enemy team comp. If you are on a more long ranged map or facing more ranged enemies, use Speeding Ticket, as Skipping Stones reduces the range of his main attack.
-
You should also almost always auto-aim Moe's super if enemies are in range, as it will guaranteed get its knockback off, allowing for an easy kill. Manual aim can often be a bad choice, since with the variable distance you will often not aim exactly where you want to go.
-
Make sure to have as much ammo as possible when activating Dodgy Digging, as you want to get as much super charge as possible from it.
-
After exiting his Driller form, Moe has the same amount of ammo as he did when he was in Driller form. Keep this in mind, as you don't want to blindly waste ammo on nothing while in Driller form, as you will be more vulnerable when going back to normal form.
-
Moe is a great goal scorer in Brawl Ball, since he can pass the ball, super to it, which knocks back nearby enemies, and immediately superkick the ball into the goal, since he gets his super back immediately.
-
Switch back to Moe's normal form immediately after there are no enemies in range of his Driller form, as you have much more range, which is necessary to cycle his supers effectively.
