Gale
"Gale's job is to use his snowblower to clear the areas around Mr. P's Snowtel. Nobody mentioned anything about stopping when the guests were around..."
Class: Controller
Rarity: Epic
Trio: Snowtel with Mr. P and Lou
Best skin: Squeakbuster Gale
Mastery title: "The Janitor"

Gale is a midranger with many different forms of crowd control with his abilities. He excels at dealing with aggressive brawlers, as crowd control is one of the best ways to deal with them.

Health: 3800 to 7600
Movement speed: Normal

Main Attack: Polar Vortex
"Gale blasts a large snow ball wall at his enemies!"
Damage: 6 x 300 to 600
Range: Long
Reload speed: Very Fast
Gale has a very wide main attack, firing out 6 snowballs in a horizontal line. You can only hit 4 at a time, however, and it has a relatively slow projectile speed. It has a very fast reload speed and range, so you can spam it out quite effectively.

Super: Gale Force!
"Gale delivers an almighty gust of wind and snow, pushing back all enemies caught in its path."
Damage: 600 to 1200
Range: Very Long
Gale's super is a wide and long ranged gust of wind that pushes back all brawlers to the end of its range. It is best used defensively, as it doesn't deal much damage, and you can't hit enemies pushed back since they are pushed back farther than Gale's main attack range.

Gadget 1: Spring Ejector
"Gale drops a bounce pad underfoot, launching friend and foe alike into the air."
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Gale's jump pad is overall a very cheesy gadget, not having much use other than trapping either yourself or enemies inside walls. It can be used on some maps to hop over some walls, however this generally isn't too useful.

Gadget 2: Twister
"Gale uses his leaf blower to create a local tornado, which will push away any opponents that try to pass through."
Cooldown: 21 seconds
This gadget is amazing for dealing with aggressive brawlers, as it is impossible for them to pass through his tornado. It is mainly used defensively, similar to his super, and you can also use it to close off choke points.

Star Power 1: Blustery Blow
"Gale's Super now stuns enemies for 1.25 seconds if they are pushed against obstacles."
This star power allows Gale's super to be used offensively, as the stun is very strong. If positioned right, Gale can stun multiple enemies, which can set up kills for him and his teammates.

Star Power 2: Freezing Snow
"Gale's snow balls now also slow down opponents for 0.5 seconds."
This is another amazing star power, adding a slow to Gale's main attack. It isn't as good as some longer slows, but it allows Gale's main attack to deal more consistent damage, as more of his projectiles land due to the enemy being slower.

Hypercharge: Blizzard
"Gale's Super is slightly wider and fires twice, pushing enemies even further away!"
Charge rate: 4 supers
Speed buff: 26%
Damage buff: 15%
Shield buff: 15%
Gale has an incredibly powerful hypercharge, covering a huge area and dealing significant damage. It also fully recharges itself if you hit 3 enemies with it, which is very easy to due since it is so wide. This also often ends up in a teamwipe. However, the charge rate is incredibly slow, often taking either the entire match or more than the entire match to charge.

Gear selection:
Gale has a lot of good gear options due to his balanced overall stats. Damage is the best general gear for him, but his second gear choice will often come down to personal preference between the rest of the gears. Vision gear is a very underrated gear on him, however, due to his fast reload speed and many projectiles.

Best Matchups:
Gale is best into aggressive brawlers, as they have almost no way to approach him due to his many forms of crowd control. Brawlers such as Edgar, Buzz, and Darryl to approach him. They also end up feeding him his hypercharge, which can be game changing.

Best Counters:
Gale's best counters are throwers, as he has no way to kill them from behind walls. Brawlers such as Barley and Larry & Lawrie excel against him due to their area control and damage as throwers. Other common matchups that are good against him are brawlers who either outrange him or can wallpeek better than him. A great example of this is Janet.

Best Game Modes:
Gale's best mode is Brawl Ball due to him being a great defensive brawler against any potential aggressive picks, and he can also knock the ball out of enemy hands in multiple ways. He is also good in Hot Zone due to his solid control and ability to counter aggressive synergies.

Tips and Tricks:
-
Use Gale's Blustery Blow star power on maps with lots of walls, as it is easier to position yourself to get value.
-
Use Gale's Freezing Snow star power on more open maps, as slows are much more impactful in open areas.
-
Gale's hypercharge is a devastating combo with his Blustery Blow star power, as it pushes enemies so far back that they will almost guaranteed hit a wall. The cyclability of the hypercharged super also leads to the enemy being perma stunned, which is almost completely uncounterable.
-
Gale's main attack can hit around both sides of a single wall, so he is very good at attacking around one-width walls.
-
Gale's Twister gadget and super can knock the ball out of the enemy's hands, making him a great defensive brawler in Brawl Ball. These abilities can also be used for an easy goal by knocking back the enemy when you shoot the ball.
-
Gale's crowd control pair great with high damage brawlers, as they can use his slows, stuns, and knockbacks to land their high-damaging abilities.
