Pam

"Pam handles an enormous workload at the junkyard and always gets it done! It's just a shame it keeps her away from her daughter, Jessie..."

Class: Support

Rarity: Epic

Trio: Junkyard with Jessie and Nani

Best skin: Stonks Pam

Mastery title: "Your mom"

Pam is a brawler that has decent stats across the board and can be used for multiple reasons, but she doesn't excel at one thing in particular. She does have a pretty good gadget that is very unique, however she is very awkward to use due to her kit not really synergizing with itself or other brawlers.

Health: 4800 to 9600

Movement speed: Normal

Main Attack: Scrapstorm

"Pam sprays a large area with bursts of scrap metal. Safety goggles advised!"

Damage: 9 x 300 to 600

Range: Long

Reload speed: Very Fast

Pam's main attack shoots out many projectiles in a fan shape at a decent range, with 5 of them in the middle and 2 more on each side. It can do a lot of damage if every projectile connects and it does have a fast reload speed, however, it takes a long time to fire out all of the projectiles, leading to it not dealing as much damage as it would seem.

Super: Mama's Kiss

"Pam's healing turret will fix up her and teammates who stay in its area of effect."

Turret Health: 2800 to 5600

Healing per second: 480 to 960

Pam's turret can be very useful in Hot Zone or other control-based modes to provide a healing zone, as it can counter low-DPS brawlers well. However the radius is quite small, and it can take a while to charge up. It should almost always be placed down behind a wall to avoid it getting destroyed.

Gadget 1: Pulse Modulator

"Pam triggers her turret to emit a pulse that heals allies inside the turret's range, including herself, for 1920 health."

Cooldown: 12 seconds

This is just a mediocre gadget, providing some instant healing, however the healing from the turret is often enough, and it doesn't give Pam's kit anything new.

Gadget 2: Scrapsucker

"Each hit from Pam's next attack removes 25% of opposing Brawlers' maximum ammo. Pam reclaims 50% of the ammo for herself."

Cooldown: 17 seconds

This is a great and very unique gadget for Pam, as her main attack fires out many projectiles, and she can use this gadget to catch enemies off guard and leave them without ammo. This allows Pam to not be hard countered by tanks or assassins, as she can easily remove their ammo if they get close.

Star Power 1: Mama's Hug

"Whenever Pam hits enemy Brawlers with Scrapstorm, she heals herself and nearby friendly Brawlers for 96 health."

This star power is a good idea in concept to provide Pam with some extra healing, however the healing is incredibly small and often doesn't change any interactions.

Star Power 2: Mama's Squeeze

"Healing turret now also damages enemies for 960 damage per second."

This is a pretty good star power, as it allows for Pam to use her super  aggressively to provide area control. The damage overall gives her turret much more value in certain situations, and allows for her super to be used both offensively and defensively. â€‹

Hypercharge: Mama's Love

"Pam's turret heals on deploy. It continues to heal Brawlers over their max health by providing them with a decaying shield."

Charge rate: 2 and 1/2 supers

Speed buff: 26%

Damage buff: 25%

Shield buff: 5%

Pam has a great hypercharge, charging relatively fast and providing good initial and continuous value with the burst heal and overheal. It can provide up to a 6000 HP shield, making any teammate inside the turret incredibly hard to kill, allowing for Pam and her team to hold control of the map.

Mythic Gear: Super Turret

Increases the healing of Pam's turret by 20%.

Gear selection:

Pam's mythic gear is a must have on her, as it makes her super much more impactful. For her second gear, health gear is good for her since she has high HP, and vision gear is very useful on bushy maps due to her large amount of projectiles.

Best build:

Other good abilities to buy:

Best Matchups:

Pam does best into brawlers with low DPS, as it is pretty much impossible for them to kill Pam or her teammates while they are inside of her turret. Brawlers such as Stu and Gus fit into this category, as they only have their main attacks for damage, and they don't deal the most damage either. She also does good into brawlers that take a long time to reload their ammo, such as Amber, as she takes a long time to fill up her ammo bar, and she is useless once she has no ammo, which Pam can easily remove with Scrapsucker.

Best Counters:

Pam is countered by high damage brawlers or brawlers that can destroy her turret behind walls. Griff and Dynamike fit into both of these categories, Griff with his high damage and wallbreak gadget and Dynamike with his high damage throwing attack plus wallbreak. Crow is also a great counter to Pam due to his healing and damage reduction with his poison, making Pam's healing almost useless.

Best Game Modes:

Pam's best game modes are Hot Zone and Gem Grab, as her best aspects are holding down an area and her decent stats, which allows her to excel most in control-based modes like Hot Zone and Gem Grab. She can allow her and her teammates to stay alive in the zone, and can work as a decent gem carrier in Gem Grab.

Tips and Tricks:

  • You don't have to use Scrapsucker at close range, as even hitting just 2 projectiles at range can make a big difference in her matchups.

  • You should almost always place Pam's super behind a wall, as it can be easily taken out by enemies if not behind a wall.

  • Try to hit the middle of Pam's attack, as it has the most projectiles, dealing the most damage.

  • Since it takes so long to unload Pam's attack, she can be easily kited or bursted down, even with her high HP. Be aware of the brawlers who Pam will struggle against.

  • Pam's attack is very good at checking bushes, as it has a wide spread and a lot of projectiles. This also makes vision gear very useful on her.

  • Try not to use Pam too aggressively, as she doesn't have great burst damage or mobility. Play her more defensively, as she is great at holding down an area and keeping control with her healing turret and wide attack.

  •  When using Auto Aimer, try to fire a shot right after, as it is an almost guaranteed hit thanks to the knockback, and the knockback also increases the damage of her attack since the enemy will be farther away. This also applies to the knockback from her hypercharge.

  • Try to stay in Pam's hypercharged turret for as long as possible, as the shield can increase your total health by a very significant amount, making it much harder for you to kill.
