Nani
"Originally a security camera, Nani was modified to keep an eye on Jessie. Unfortunately, she can hardly keep up with the precocious girl!"

Class: Marksman
Rarity: Epic
Trio: Junkyard with Jessie and Pam
Best skin: Ares Nani
Title: "Nanny"
Prestige Title: "You okay?"

Nani is a brawler with an incredibly hard to use main attack and super. Her attack follows a very different pattern and takes precise aim to get good damage with, and her super also takes precise movement and awareness to hit. She has an incredibly long range and excels at countering other marksmen.

Health: 2500 to 5000
Movement speed: Normal

Main Attack: Trigger-Nometry
"Nani shoots 3 light orbs that move at different angles and converge towards aimed targets."
Damage: 3 x 800 to 1600
Range: Long
Reload speed: Normal
Nani's main attack shoots 3 projectiles that follow a diamond shaped pattern. When they converge, they travel also an extra few tiles. This leads to her attack having incredibly long range, but being incredibly hard to hit. A useful tip for her main attack is to either under or overshoot it, as it gives a much higher chance of connecting at least one projectile.

Super: Manual Override
"Nani takes control of Peep and can steer him remotely into enemies, exploding on contact!"
Damage: 1800 to 3600
Range: Short
Peep is essentially a remote controlled kamikaze drone, and he is great for sniping down enemies from anywhere on the map. While Nani is controlling him, she is standing completely still, making her very vulnerable. Peep is very hard to control however, and gets harder to control the longer he is active. He does a bunch of damage and knockback on his target, leading to them either dying or having to retreat. Running into walls immediately explodes Peep, breaking the walls as well. He also explodes at the end of his 10 second duration.

Gadget 1: Warpin' Time
"Nani teleports to Peep's last known location and ends her Super."
Cooldown: 13 seconds
This is a very useful gadget for Nani, allowing her to assassinate brawlers more effectively and take them by surprise. This gadget also allows her to travel anywhere on the map, being very useful to get out of spawn and into a good position.

Gadget 2: Return To Sender
"For the next 2 seconds, the first time Nani takes damage from an enemy, 80% of the damage is returned to the enemy."
Cooldown: 17 seconds
This is a gadget that allows Nani to hard counter any single shot brawler, as she only takes 20% damage of the next projectile, and reflects 80% percent back towards them. This gadget allows Nani to be played aggressively, as enemies don't want to hit Nani and have to retreat from her. It takes good awareness and reaction time to get the most out of this gadget, however, and it is very easy to waste if you don't get hit.

Star Power 1: Autofocus
"Peep deals up to 2000 extra damage based on his travel distance."
This is a very useful star power, allowing for Peep to secure more kills from across the map, and gives him value towards the end of his duration, where he is hardest to control.

Star Power 2: Tempered Steel
"Nani takes 80% less damage while her Super is active."
This is a decent star power for Nani, giving her a ton of protection while controlling Peep. She can act as a semi-tank due to how big the damage reduction is, and gives her more general survivability while using her super.

Hypercharge: Big Peep
"Peep grows in size during travel!"
Charge rate: 3 and 1/3 supers
This is a really bad hypercharge, as the size increase makes it not only easier to hit enemy brawlers, but walls as well. It also takes a long time to charge up. The stat boost are okay, but it doesn't make this hypercharge worth buying.

Epic Gear: Super Charge
This gear increases Nani's super charge rate by 10%.

Gear selection:
Shield gear is the best gear for Nani, allowing for her to not be as squishy. Super charge gear is also quite good, allowing her to get Peep more often. However, damage is also a solid option for her to increase her damage at low health.

Best Matchups:
Nani is the ultimate marksman counter, as she outranges most of them, and can use her Return To Sender gadget to reflect back their heavy single shot damage. Brawlers such as Piper, Bea, and Angelo all deal massive damage with their attacks and get outranged by Nani, essentially being a free matchup for her.

Best Counters:
Nani is countered by fast brawlers and long ranged chip brawlers, as fast brawlers can easily dodge her shots and chip brawlers can waste her gadget. Max is a great counter to Nani due to her speed boosts and her Phase Shifter gadget, which allows her to completely tank Peep. Gene and Mr. P are chip brawlers that do great into Nani as well, wasting her gadget. Mr. P's porters are also incredibly hard for Nani to deal with, as she has quite a slow reload speed.

Best Game Modes:
Nani is best in Bounty/Wipeout and Knockout to counter the other marksman used in that mode, and uses her extreme range and sniping ability with her super to dominate. She is also quite good in Heist as she can use her Warpin' Time gadget to instantly teleport on the safe and deal massive damage with her main attack.

Tips and Tricks:
-
Try to either undershoot or overshoot with Nani, as you likely won't hit all 3 projectiles, but you have a much greater chance of hitting 1 or 2 projectiles.
-
Try to switch up your targeting when controlling Peep, as enemies can easily dodge him if they know he is going for them. Look for opportunities to switch it up and have a greater chance of getting a hit.
-
Use Warpin' Time in Heist to teleport onto the safe, or in other gamemodes to get more effective assassinations.
-
When using Return To Sender, you need to have good reaction time so that when you know you are going to get hit by a shot, you can reflect it reactively.
-
If jumped on by an assassin, first autoaim an attack on them, then knock them back with Peep, and then use more main attacks to finish them off. Nani can deal big damage and knockback at close range, however she still has incredibly low HP.
-
Try to use Nani's super in a safe place, preferably near spawn, as she is very vulnerable when controlling Peep. She also regenerates her health and reloads her ammo while controlling him, so don't be afraid to use him when low on HP or ammo.
-
Any knockback or stun ability will make Nani stop controlling Peep, so make sure you are not in range of any brawlers who can interrupt you.
