Max
"Fuelled by energy drinks, Max speeds to the scene whenever someone needs help. She never sticks around long enough to do much... but she sure is fast!"
Class: Support
Rarity: Mythic
Trio: Superhero with Meg and Surge
Best skin: Angel Max
Mastery title: "I AM SPEED!"

Max is a support brawler who gives a large movement speed buff to her and her teammates with her super and has a ton of mobility with her kit. She can also deal a decent amount of damage throughout the duration of the game if played right.

Health: 3300 to 6600
Movement speed: Very Fast

Main Attack: Faster Blaster
"Max's blaster shoots a bunch of projectiles fast! It holds a lot of rounds, and Max is quick with the reload."
Damage: 4 x 320 to 640
Range: Long
Reload Speed: Very Fast
Max uses her main attack a ton throughout the game, as it unloads and reloads very fast and she has a fourth ammo slow, unlike most brawlers. If all the projectiles hit, it deals a good amount of damage, however the projectile speed is slow, making it hard to hit most of the time.

Super: Let's Go!
"Max momentarily boosts up her movement speed and that of nearby allies. Gotta go fast!"
Duration: 4 seconds
Max's super provides a huge movement speed boost to her and her teammates, having great synergy with most brawlers in the game, allowing her team to potentially run down the opponents and dodge shots more effectively. It's also great with Max herself, since she already has a very fast movement speed.

Gadget 1: Phase Shifter
"Max dashes forward, and becomes immune to all damage from enemies while dashing."
Cooldown: 15 seconds
This is an amazing gadget for Max, giving her extra mobility and complete immunity for a short time. It is incredibly useful in a bunch of different scenarios, whether it's to tank a high-damage attack, get close the enemy, dodge a shot, or retreat. It also doesn't have too long of a cooldown, making it even more valuable.

Gadget 2: Sneaky Sneakers
"Max blinks back to a place of her choosing after 3.0 seconds delay, recovering any damage she received in the meantime."
Cooldown: 10 seconds
This is unfortunately not a very useful gadget, as the area Max teleports back to is incredibly obvious, and even though Max heals back up, enemies can simply pre-fire where she spawns, often killing or heavily damaging her. The short cooldown also doesn't help this gadget, as it often has a negative effect when you use it.

Star Power 1: Super Charged
"Max now charges her Super while moving."
This is a solid star power for Max, allowing for her to passively charge her super over time. However, it does take a long time for her to fully charge a super passively, though it does provide a nice boost. It also doesn't charge her hypercharge.

Star Power 2: Run N' Gun
"Max reloads faster while moving."
This is also a solid star power for Max, slightly increasing her overall damage output and super charge rate. However, Max's shots are still relatively hard to consistently hit, so this star power is only useful on more short ranged maps.

Hypercharge: Unlimited Energy
"Max throws an energy drink to each team member, increasing their movement speed and granting them 25% Super charge."
Charge rate: 2 and 6/7 supers
Speed buff: 26%
Damage buff: 25%
Shield buff: 5%
Max has an amazing hypercharge, as it makes her movement speed boost map-wide, and the extra super charge is great as well. The speed boost also lasts for 10 seconds, making it very impactful if you and your team is able to stay alive. The super charge from the energy drink can also stack, so you should always activate the hypercharge when you are on top of your teammates to give everybody a 75% super charge, or 2 people 50% super charge.

Gear selection:
Max has a wide variety of gears to choose from. Shield, damage, health, and vision are all great options for her. Shield and damage are the best overall boosts for Max, as extra HP and damage at low health is always useful. On passive modes, health is a great option to make sure Max can continue to go on the aggressive without having to fall back for too long. Max also fires out a ton of projectiles with her main attack, making vision gear a great choice on bushy maps.

Other good abilities to buy:

Best Matchups:
Max is amazing into sharpshooters, as her speed-based kit allows for her and her team to dodge their slim and long ranged shots with ease. Her best matchups include Piper, Nani, and Brock, since they have either slim or hard to hit shots if the enemy is faster than normal. Max can easily close the gap on them with her numerous mobility abilities and burst them down with her main attack.

Best Counters:
Max is countered by brawlers who are great defensively, as they don't have to worry about her running in with her super. She is also countered well by healers since she doesn't deal the most damage with her main attack. Buster is one of the best counters to Max due to his shield being able to reflect Max's projectiles very well, and the fact that he is very hard to push into with his Slow-Mo Replay gadget. Pam is also a great counter due to her being relatively tanks and her turret being able to outheal Max's damage. Crow is also a solid counter due to his slowing gadget being able to essentially remove Max's super, and his poison is incredibly annoying for Max to deal with due to her needing to constantly heal up.

Best Game Modes:
Max is great on Bounty, as she can counter the marksmen often played there, and she can allow her teammates to counter them as well with her super. She is also a great pick in Brawl Ball due to her insane speed and mobility, being a great goal scorer with her super and Phase Shifter gadget.

Tips and Tricks:
-
With Max's main attack, you should always try to manually aim it, as it is very inconsistent with auto-aim.
-
Max is often considered a very high skill cap brawler. Her insane mobility and support is the main selling point of her kit, not her damage or health, making it hard for lower level players to use her.
-
Try to time Max's Phase Shifter gadget to tank a high-damage projectile, such as a Piper or Angelo shot or a Mandy or Nani super.
-
A useful trick you can do in Brawl Ball with Max is shooting the ball against a wall, then using Phase Shifter to catch the ball. This is great for scoring goals, as you are completely immune to both damage and crowd control while dashing, making it very hard to stop Max from scoring.
-
Timing Max's super is very important. Make sure your teammates are at high health to make sure they get the most out of the speed boost instead of just running in and dying.
-
Max's incredibly fast movement speed is possibly the best part of her kit. You should be utilizing it by dodging incoming attacks from enemies more consistently than other brawlers.
-
Make sure you are always moving with Max. This is not just to dodge shots, but her star powers don't work if you are not moving, and you almost always want the extra super charge or reload speed.
-
Max can output a decent amount of mid-ranged damage with her main attack, however it requires very good aim to consistently hit all of her shots.
-
When using Max's hypercharge, you need to stay in one area for a split second. Max actually moves so fast that she dodges the energy drink thrown at her, so make sure to stay in one area so you don't miss out on the extra super charge.
